Organising events @ Kuckucksmuehle

We would like for anyone who is interested in sharing their skills with others to be able to do so and therefore we offer our support for peer to peer knowledge sharing whilst supporting our project.

In order to make this process as simple and self managed as possible we have included below a template that you can use to propose and organise an event at Kuckucksmuehle.

Please copy and paste the below questions into an email and send the answers to kuckucksmuehle@ecohackerfarm.org for discussion.

  1. Title of the event
  2. Short description that can be used to promote the event
  3. Proposed date/s & time for the event - please check the calendar to see whether we have something else going on (multiple events where there is some correlation could be a good idea)
  4. What equipment will be needed? Do we need to organise it or will it be done by yourself?
  5. Is there a fee or donation charge associated with the event?
  6. Who takes care of the event admin ie bookings and collecting donations / fees?
  7. What services are needed from Kuckucksmuehle eg. lifts to and from the station, meals, rooms, admin etc. ?
  8. Do you require any printed material?

Post-approval Checklist

  1. Make a shopping list of material needed
  2. Finalise food / beverage agreement
  3. Finalise text for publication, including any fundraising aims if relevants, how to book and pay…
  4. Do you have a poster or usable image? - useful for some sm sites eg. facebook, couchsurfing… etc.
  5. Publish on all our sm accounts - requires security access - alert PM you are dealing with to carry this out
