Learn how to build a filtration system for a dry compost toilet and grey water filtration during this 3 day course
After the course you will be able to build your own urine and grey water filtration system using natural materials, providing nutrition to your trees without the bad odor.
We will cover the theory and practice of urine filtration using different methods and grey water treatment for ecological, hygienic and practical use of urine as compost for trees and gardens.

- separation of solids / liquids
- discussion about automation and alternative methods of waste disposal
- methods of filtration
- outline of practical sessions
Dinner - Social evening – grill & fire
Day 2

If you cannot afford the course fee please speak to us to arrange alternative method of payment for example volunteering hours or part exchange etc.
Accommodation
- Shared rooms or single rooms with shared bathroom (only one bathroom) - depending on availability
- Hot solar showers outside in the summer - hot shower and bathtub inside in the winter
- One shared kitchen
- Dishwasher and washing machine
- Internet (no heavy downloads)
Food
We don't subscribe to any one classification however we do not buy meat and cow's milk, you are welcome to bring your own if you like. The course fee does not include alcohol, we do have some here which you can buy for a small donation.

We will be running a shuttle service to and from Liebenthal train station. Pick up time will be confirmed closer to the date.
