Automated garden irrigation system
Equipment needed
- Arduino Nano (or any kind of Arduino) - light sensitive resistor 2Ω - 6kΩ - resistor 2kΩ - relay - valve 12V - power supply 12V
Step 1: Connect the Soil Humidity Sensor to the Arduino
Step 2: Create a log system for temperature readings from the Soil Moisture Sensors
Step 3: Observe current readings from the Greenhouse and the Garden (desired watering areas)
At this stage you should take notes about the readings and what the soil looks like, for example at a reading of 100 the top soil is wet but only the top soil - the first 2 to 3 inches.
