Infrared Thermometer

With the infrared thermometer, you can measure the temperature with out physical contact. This is done by analysing part of the thermal radiation given off by the measured object.

Aim the thermometer at the desired object and press the trigger. The best measurement is achieved when the thermometer is about 30cm from the object. You can use the laser pointer for aiming by pressing the laser button below the screen. :!: Don't look directly into the laser beam. :!: You can also use the light bulb button to light up the screen and the C/F button to switch units. Once a measurement has been taken, it will be displayed for a few seconds, then the thermometer will switch off automatically.

Battery Change

To change battries, push the front part of the handle forward at the top. It will swing down and reveal the battery compartment. The AGT model uses 2x AA-batteries, the ETEKCITY model, uses 1x 9V battery.
