Garbage

Biodegradable items go firstly into the small WHITE BOWL next to the bread oven in the basket. When this is full you take the bowl and empty it into the BLUE BIN outside the door next to the stairs (try to not spill any even though the dog wants you too) Once the blue bin is full you take it to the COMPOST heap, (turn left out of the kitchen, go through the gate and turn right) empty it and return it. .

Non recyclable items go into the little white pot near the compost bowl, when this becomes full you empty it into the black wheelie bin in the room opposite the kitchen around the right corner. (The black bin gets collected on Tuesday's)

Recyclable items with the recycle logo go into the yellow wheelie bin, things like milk cartons cereal boxes and these should be flattened/crushed before storing. (The Yellow bin gets collected on Monday morning)

This wheelie bin is for paper items that DO NOT have the recycle logo on them, they should be flattened/crushed before storing. (The blue bin is taken on a different schedule and you will be informed if this needs to be moved)

Bottles (glass/plastic) eg beer/wine go firstly into the pantry on the right hand side and once this becomes full they will need to be taken in the car to the bottle bank/depot.

We collect and reuse: * jars first clean them in the dishwasher then they should go in the cellar (you can put them first in the cellar entrydoor and bring them down on another point - but if the chance of accidentally throwing them down the jars is to high, you are responsible for wasting energy and time :) ) * eggcarton * small stable plastic buckets * good containers tobacco cans, cigar boxes, … when they got in touch with machine oil or similar, we don't want to use them as bigger as better bad example is the cheap plastic containers for vegetables for example carrots - these break very easily and make often more hassle

If you have an idea to reuse certain stuff ask and probably we'll fine with it. We want to reuse as much as possible but we have to value that against the time.
