Preparations

Starting first time (motor is cold)

Use the finger pump in front of the lawnmower (red rubber button) and push it up to three times. Go back to the handle and hold the front lever while you pull the starter string (don't use to much strength). The machine should start with the right speed of pulling the starter string.

Starting (when motor is warm)

Repeat Starting first time without using the finger pump: Go to the handle and hold the front lever while you pull the starter string (don't use to much strength). The machine should start with the right speed of pulling the starter string.

Driving

Hold the lever you started with and pull the other also to let the lawnmower drive forward. Let it loose for slowing down or stopping.

You can hear if the motor goes slow or if it's running fast. If the motor goes too slow the motor will go off. This can have multiple reasons: 1. grass to high, 2. grass bag is full, or 3. the rotor is stuck. In any case you have to do something about it.

  1. Sometimes when the grass is to high mow only with half of the lawnmower (only with the left or right side). Otherwise the motor will go off and you have to clean the lawnmower underneath before starting it again.
  2. Empty the grass bag with the grass that stopped the rotor on the compost.
  3. Sometimes the motor gets stuck and you have to clean the lawnmower underneath. Check for things that wrapped around the rotor and clean it.
