====== An automated dog feeder ======

the dogs need a feeder that keeps out rats and mice

it needs to be:

  * sturdy to withstand the dogs
  * should not be be able to topple over
  * should be easily refillable
  * provide cover from rain / snow so the food doesn't get wet
  * does not obstruct a dog's hearing whilst he is eating
  * dispenses in portions that are not too large - avoiding food waste
