====== Kuckucksmühle – Project Closed ======

**Status Update:**  
The Kuckucksmühle (Cuckoo Mill) project is now **permanently closed**.  
This page remains online for historical reference only.  

**Reasons for Closure:**  
- During the Corona years, social problems in the group emerged that could no longer be resolved.
- Afterward, there were not enough people and resources to keep the project running.

Kuckucksmühle (Cuckoo Mill) is a historical water mill in the North East of Germany ([[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandenburg|Brandenburg]] Federal State).  
From [YEAR STARTED] until its closure in [YEAR CLOSED], we aimed to restore the mill and its outbuildings, set up a [[hackerspace]] / [[https://wiki.hackerspaces.org/w/index.php?title=Hackbase|Hackbase]] and [[:permaculture|permaculture]] farm.

Kuckucksmühle was part of the [[:start|Eco Hacker Farm]] project.

There are no ongoing activities, volunteer opportunities, or events. The email addresses and forms listed below are no longer monitored.

===== About the Former Project =====

The project was intended for anyone who shared our [[:ideals|ideals]], welcoming participation both online and on site.

Activities once included restoration work, gardening, digital and hardware infrastructure building, community organizing, and permaculture research.
